TravelDesk oversaw the organization of the ninth edition of the Artista del Panino contest, an event that celebrates creativity and passion for culinary art.
The competition will be held on Tuesday, November 26th, starting at 10:30, at the charming location of “Le Cisterne del Ducale” in Genoa. TravelDesk’s team has collaborated with Vandemoortele, an international leader in the frozen bakery sector with the flagship brands Agritech and Lanterna, to take care of every organizational detail and create an unforgettable experience for participants and guests.
The semi-final saw the participation of 30 baristas and industry professionals from all over Italy, ready to compete to win one of the 8 coveted passes that will allow access to the final in February 2025. The competitors will test their skills in creating the perfect sandwich, using Agritech artisan bread specialties and Lanterna focaccias. The event will be evaluated by a jury of experts composed of renowned chefs, influencers and food bloggers, who will judge each proposal based on a series of factors including originality, balance of flavors, speed of preparation and presentation.
