Our story
Founded in 1991 in Genoa, Italy, as a privately owned and family-run business travel agency, TravelDesk has grown steadily, specializing in marine travel and later expanding into corporate events.
Today, we boast a team of over 25 professionals, numerous external collaborators, and a solid network of trusted partners. Since 2023, we have become part of GlobalStar Travel Management, one of the world’s leading corporate travel and event agency networks, serving as the exclusive representative for Italy. In 2024, we opened a branch in Milan to better serve our clients.
We now operate in four business areas (Corporate Travel, Marine Travel, MICE, and Leisure) and serve over 500 corporate clients, including Italian and multinational companies from various industries.
In 2025, TravelDesk became part of ESA Group, the leading independent Italian company in the ship management sector, with a presence in four countries (Italy, Malta, Romania, and the Philippines) and 19 companies. This integration further strengthened our solidity and operational capacity, creating synergies with Fieschi Travel – another company within the Group – and giving rise to one of the main Italian players in business travel and corporate events, with an annual turnover in business travel alone exceeding €35 million and a portfolio of over 650 corporate clients.

Commitment to the environment
Environmental protection and sensitivity to renewable energy are fundamental elements of our corporate policy and our research and development strategy.
Our commitment to environmental protection is reflected in three areas of active intervention:
- Supplier selection for sustainable travel and events: we design corporate travel and events sustainably, carefully selecting our suppliers to minimize emissions.
- CO2 emissioni calculation: we use our business intelligence platform to provide our clients with a detailed and accurate calculation of the carbon dioxide emissions generated during their corporate travels.
- Emissions offsetting program: in collaboration with a specialized partner, we implement an emissions offsetting program for our corporate clients, a concrete measure to mitigate environmental impact.
Social committment
For several years, TravelDesk has been supporting AfricaOn, a non-profit organization, by funding some of the projects the association is engaged in across Mozambique, Tanzania, and Ivory Coast, in collaboration with local organizations.
Founded in 2006, AfricaOn implements projects aimed at supporting the most vulnerable, abandoned, and orphaned children, ensuring them a dignified childhood, the right to food, education, healthcare, play, and the opportunity for a future.
